BREAKING: Marc Marquez To Retire From Motorcycling After Some Random Nurse Explained The Risks To Him
Marc Marquez, 8-time Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing World Champion, has announced today that he will retire from motorcycling. This shocking news comes in the midst of Marc fighting for yet another championship and just moments after a random nurse wandered into the Ducati paddock with a mimosa.
“I was sitting there, discussing suspension changes, when some lady in my ear whispered, ‘You know we call these things donorcycles at the clinic, right?’” Marc said. “I turned around startled, but she told me, ‘It’s fine, I’m a nurse.’”
Marc continued.
“At first I felt confusion, then I felt fear. If medical professional has nickname like that for motorcycle, they must know something about motorcycles that I have yet to discover after 30 years of racing them at the highest levels. I must retire before it is too late.”
We reached out to Ryleigh Nichols – heroic nurse and hero who saved Marc Marquez’s life – to see if she had any comment.
“Uhm, It’s actually Ryleigh Nichols, RN. But it’s ok. It’s my calling to use my training as a part-time, traveling OB-GYN nurse and spin class instructor to let strangers on motorcycles know that I know better.”
