Disaster was narrowly avoided on Saturday as a group of sportbike riders were reminded to ‘ride their own ride’ just moments before kickstands up.
“I don’t even want to think what would have happened if he hadn’t said that,” said one rider. “It would have been a blood bath out there.”
Max Cist, whom many are now calling a hero, was the one who spoke up. “I’m no hero,” Max said. “I’m sure any motorcyclist would have done the same… except for all those in the group who didn’t.” Thanks to Max’s heroic actions, the group of young sport bike riders were free to do what they normally do in these situations: completely ignore the advice and cave to peer pressure.
“We were so close to ending the day with as many bikes as we started with... Max should get all the credit for that.”
